The Singing Space Ship of Logan Ohio

There are few things more relaxing or widely practiced then placing oneself firmly upon the couch and enjoying some television before going to bed. However, in the small town of Logan Ohio, one individuals evening would make the transition from pleasant to panic inducing. The Following report is from Reddit user /Zaramby.

In the winter of 2003 /Zaramby was sitting down and enjoying some television, when between 7 and 8 P.M. they heard a terrible noise outside of their home. “This noise was like having a needle jammed into your ear; it was so painful to my body I couldn’t even move for a moment, it ended after a short while and left me in shock. I stood up, still confused as to what had just happened to me. ”

It was at this point that they decided something bad must have happened. “At this point I know something for sure is wrong. I got up from watching my tv show and I got dressed to go out and investigate.” Bundling up to protect from the cold, Ohio winter, the witness then grabs a flashlight, a pocket knife and their trusty canine companion and ventured forth into to the blustery night.

Walking out to the tree line and the unclaimed forest in the direction they believed they heard the sound emit from, /Zaramby felt a vibration surge through their hands nearly making them drop their flash light and pocket knife. Having a moments pause it would seem the witness’ curiosity was just too great as they decided to push on to discover the source of the ear shattering sound that had begun the trek in the first place.

After a bit the witness would lay their eyes upon what they believed must be their quarry, from a distance the witness would say, “It looked like a black water that was formed into the shape of a small hexagonal shape, it was maybe 17 feet wide and 7 feet tall.” Spurred on, /Zaramby moved forward inspecting the surface, “As I reached the object I realized that the material it was made of was a liquid but a solid at the same time.” At this point they began to look around the craft searching for an opening even getting the courage enough to touch the craft. “When I touched it I ended up feeling something solid. I was baffled by how this made sense at all, I circled around the object until i found an opening. It was a light that was a purple color, I put my hand near it and a door shaped part of the object started to become more transparent for me to walk into.. When I walked in I saw that it was much larger inside than on the outside; like it had grown since I’d entered it.“

The sight was amazing, however the enjoyment of the moment was hampered by a noxious odor that near incapacitated the witness, “It smelled of gasoline; I almost couldn’t stand it. My dog entered with me, he didn’t seem to even care about what was actually going on.” Despite the smell and perhaps comforted by the calm demeanor of their steely nosed pup, /Zaramby decided to investigate a bit further, “It was one big room, no humanoids or creatures in sight, which is exactly what I did not expect. I saw 4 large screens with one singular figure on it I have no idea what it means but it has haunted me since.”

As they continued their investigation they reported yet another sensory jarring detail, “The worst part about being inside of this… thing was the music, it was soothing but ear piercing at the same time; I wanted to stop listening instantly but I was not able to bring myself to do it.” turning the attention of what could only be a throbbing head at this point towards the section of the craft with the monitors the witness said, “There were joystick type electronics on the tables in front of the monitors. There were finger molds (like you would put your fingers in the indent and it would match up perfectly- like if you put your hand in concrete, let it dry, and put it back into the mold.) But the fingers… They were so deformed, there were 7 fingers on one hand and there were smaller fingers branching out of them.”

After making this skin crawling discovery, /Zaramby decided enough was enough, “Needless to say after all of this I was done, I got my dog and my things and got the hell home. Nothing else happened, nothing happened since.” When asked if their were any lasting effects or if they had gone back, they replied, “My muscles were spazzing for a couple days afterwords, but then I was perfectly fine. I went back to the area the next day and it was gone. I was in shock as to what happened, I needed to see what was going on. The only thing that proved anything had ever happened was the slightest amount of earth that had been pushed in, I plan on revisiting the area.“

So what did /Zaramby see that night in 2003? Was it an alien spacecraft strangely left vacant for a moment as the witness searched its interior? Was it a goverment craft, who’s pilots (If any were needed at all) were hiding in hopes of keeping the whole thing quiet? What about the strange music? could it perhaps have been a language or message that the witness simply could not comprehend? What about the hand? What strange creature could be attached to such a foreign anatomical hand structure? I wonder however, if it wasn’t some kind of misidentified technology? Perhaps a star map, where one would trace their fingers along the lines to the location you wanted? It’s anyone’s guess. One thing is for sure though, there are far more things out there in the universe then we could possibly fathom.
